November 1-30, 2023

In conjunction with the Author Illustrator Fair, we are kicking off the whole month of November to celebrate literacy with our 4th annual Orion Read-A-Thon!

Students are encouraged to read each day over this 30 day period, tracking their reading minutes throughout the week using their online reading log. Support your student(s) by reading them a favorite story, encouraging them to read and log their reading minutes, and by asking family and friends to make donations of support.

Students will be able to earn prizes by achieving reading goals and fundraising goals. Compete for special prizes as you read and raise alongside your friends. Classes can also compete to earn prizes for the entire class, so encourage all your classmates to participate!

Please help our school meet our goals of 100% reading participation and $30,000 raised! Every student can participate and help make a difference for our school! Let’s take advantage of the colder weather to cuddle up with a good book and let the reading adventure begin!
